Iran will leave Syria, Iraq only if govts want it to: Aide to Khamenei

Iran says it would immediately withdraw its military advisers from Syria and Iraq only if their governments wanted it to. Speaking at a conference in Moscow, an aide to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Ali Akbar Velayati said we will not leave because of Israel and America’s pressure.

Iran and Russia back Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the country’s civil war.
