Islamabad police arrests 14 outlaws involved in criminal activities

Islamabad, May 22, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad police have arrested 14 outlaws from various areas of the city for their involvement in criminal activities, said a police spokesman on Tuesday. According to the details, ASI Nasrullah of Khanna police raided at a house in Iqbal Town and recovered 101 bottles of wine from the possession of Zeeshan and Daud Masih. SI Arshad Mahmood of Lohi Bher police station recovered 12 cans of beer from one Sikandar Hayat. Lohi Bher police also held four females who were involved in immoral activities. The police raided a house in Bahria Town and arrested four women while the main accused Afzal Qureshi made good his escape from the scene.

Koral police arrested Akhtar Hussain for possessing a 30-bore pistol illegally. ASI Javed Akhtar of Margalla police arrested one Adnan for his involvement in street crime. Tarnol police recovered 123 grams of charas from one Subhanullah and repeater gun along with ammunition from Shahenshah and arrested them for further criminal proceedings against him.

Furthermore, the police have accelerated their campaign against alms-seekers and arrested 48 persons for their involvement in the crime. SSP (Operations) Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi has appreciated the police performance and further directed them to take necessary measures to curb anti-social activities from their respective areas.
