LARKANA:Police on Wednesday arrested three PTI leaders and several workers in Larkana areas following which PTI activists held demos for their release.
According to the report, after the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, PTI's local leader Rauf Korai and Advocate Qadir Bakhsh Bhatti and nine unidentified activists were arrested by the Market police station of Larkana city like in other cities of the country as a result of a case which was filed on the complaint of one citizen Shahnawaz Mirani.
On the other hand, another case was filed against PTI leader Senator Saifullah Abro's brother engineer Samiullah Abro and PTI's central leader Dado Allah Bakhsh Unar and 12 unknown accused persons on the complaint of citizen Abdul Hussain Odho at Ratodero police station.
However, after such a case was filed, the police arrested PTI leader Engineer Samiullah Abro, Advocate Rauf Korai, Advocate Qadir Bakhsh Bhatti. Meanwhile, three people, including engineer Samiullah Abro, were presented for remand in the court of 1st Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate of Ratodero, where the court released him and the three people.
The Market police produced the arrested PTI leader Advocate Qadir Bakhsh Bhatti in the court of the 3rd civil judge and judicial magistrate of Larkana, where the court ordered him to be handed over to jail on judicial remand.
On the other hand, the students wing of PTI also held a protest against the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Jinnah Bagh where they raised party flags and shouted slogans. On that occasion, leaders Ehsan Bugti, Mir Dadan Khan Bugti, Mir Gohram Khan Marri and others said that we, the people of Larkana, are the political heirs of PTI, for which we are protesting against the arrest process of our leader. They said that the incompetent, oppressive and anti-people government of PDM is responsible for making the situation of the country worse by arresting our leader Imran Khan. They said that the role of 13 parties included in PDM is before the people who have always looted the country and Imran Khan is the only honest leader of the country who has been arrested and the rulers are trying to escape from the upcoming general elections.
They alleged that we will not let them escape under any circumstances and they will have to implement the apex court order of holding elections on 14th May. They demanded that our leader Imran Khan should be released, otherwise the scope of the protest will be increased.
