The Islamabad Capital Police is grieving the loss of one of its own, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Zulfiqar Ali, whose funeral prayer was observed with full departmental honors at the Police Lines Headquarters, drawing senior command to pay their final respects.

According to police information today, the solemn ceremony was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters, Muhammad Haroon Joiya, alongside other high-ranking officers and personnel. The DIG laid a floral wreath on the casket and offered Fateha for the departed soul.

During the service, Mr. Joiya met with the family of the late officer to express his deepest sympathies. He acknowledged the ASI”s dedicated service, noting that the deceased was diligently performing his duties while posted in the Islamabad Police Operations Division.

Following the funeral, the body of ASI Zulfiqar Ali was dispatched to his native town for burial with full official protocol. The DIG Headquarters has issued directives to ensure the grieving family receives comprehensive assistance from the department.

In his instructions, the senior officer affirmed that every member of the police force is a valuable asset. He reiterated the department”s commitment to caring for the families of its personnel, assuring them of the institution”s unwavering support in every possible way.
