LARKANA: On the call of the Sindh Bar Council, the members of District Bar Association, Larkana, staged a protest demonstration in the session court premises here on Tuesday after boycotting their court proceedings for the arrest of the suspects who shot dead the former President Supreme Court Bar Association Abdul Latif Afridi and for the protection to the lawyers community to prevent such incidents to occur in future.
District Bar President Mohammad Rafiq Abro, General Secretary Amanullah Luhar and others spoke to the media and said that the senior lawyer at the bar of Peshawar High Court yesterday was killed and one accused was arrested.
They said that Afridi was attacked and shot dead, which we strongly condemn and request the relevant authorities to take immediate notice of the murder and arrest the accused involved in the killing of senior lawyer Latif Afridi and provide protection to the lawyers community for future.
