Deputy Commissioner Awaran, Aaesha Zehri, said on Tuesday that the mobile network shut down by heavy rains and floods had been restored in district Awaran of Balochistan province.

In a statement, she said that Awaran-Bela Road, which had been blocked at different points, including Duraski, Ched Kor, Sead Kor, Nal Jahoo Kor, Lak, Landandari and Machhi areas, had been cleared for traffic.

Ms Aaesha further said that recent rains and floods had not caused any loss to human lives, however, survey was underway to assess the damages caused by floods in district Awaran.
