SHIKARPUR: On the call of Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM) Shikarpur chapter, a rally was taken out here on Friday in protest against the growing crimes and for safe recovery of minor boy Mehrban Bhatti, Priya Kumari and other kidnapped persons.
A large number of JSM activists, parents of abducted boy, and citizens marched through the roads from Jumani Hall to Lakhi Gate Clock Tower Chowk. They were led by Assadullah Soomro and Imran Mangi.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that Shikarpur had become a hub of kidnappers, dacoits, smugglers, and other outlaws as no one feels secure in Shikarpur city and other parts of the district.
The rally was attended among others by Ali Asghar Pahore, Abdul Sami Bhatti, Hameer Chandio, Meer Hakro, Wajid Shaikh, Hakeem Muhabbat Ali, Fahad Shahzad, Ahsan Rind, Soofi Liaqat Ali, and Abdul Jabbar Shaikh.
