Shikarpur district police engaged in a gunfight with outlaws in the jurisdiction of Rustam Police Station on Wednesday evening, killing a bandit.
According to an initial report, the encounter occurred near Safdar Laaro, in which one dacoit, identified as Murtaza Kamalani, was killed on the spot, while two others, Nadir Mirani and Saedoo Kamalani, sustained injuries.
The Shikarpur Police reported that the operation against the dacoits was ongoing.
