One person was shot dead and another injured in a firing incident near Gwadar stop area of Turbat on Saturday.
According to police, unidentified assailants gunned down a man namely Irshad son of Gul Muhammad, resident of Latkhana Sindh near Gwadar stop area of Turbat. One passer-by was also injured. The assailants managed to escape after committing the crime. The body and injured were taken to Turbat hospital for completion of medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively.
The injured, who had received bullet wound in shoulder, was reported to be in stable condition. Further investigation was being conducted by the police.
