In response to the series of violent incidents in Karachi, law enforcement agencies showed immediate response to the disputes and crimes involving shootings, resulting in injuries and arrests.
Near the Warraich Bus Stop near Cantt Station, in a personal dispute, 30-year-old Ajmal Khan was injured by gunfire. Police immediately arrested the accused named Nazir Shahid and recovered a pistol from his possession. The injured individual was immediately transferred to the hospital.
In a separate incident within the limits of Nazimabad Police Station, an exchange of fire occurred between police forces and robbers, near Jamali Hotel close to Nazimabad No. 4 Railway Crossing. During the exchange of fire, police arrested an injured robber, Sabir Ismail. A firearm and several bullets were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Active investigations of both incidents are ongoing.
