Outrage in Naseerabad as Trader’s Abduction Sparks Fear Among Minority Communities

Noted social, political, and tribal leader of Naseerabad, Sardarzada Mir Hair Biyar Khan Domki, has fervently denounced the recent kidnapping of Sitl Das, a respected trader from the Hindu community, by unidentified armed assailants on Mir Hassan Road. Expressing his outrage in a statement on Sunday, Domki labeled the audacious abduction of the industrious and tranquil businessman as deeply disturbing and utterly unacceptable.

Domki emphasized the significant contribution of the Hindu community to Balochistan’s economic and developmental landscape, asserting that their protection should be a top priority for the government and security forces. He warned that such incidents not only amplify feelings of vulnerability within minority groups but also cast a shadow over the region’s overall security situation.

In his appeal, Domki urged the authorities, including the Balochistan government, district officials, and law enforcement, to act swiftly in rescuing Sitl Das and ensuring the captors face justice. He extended his support to the Hindu community and the family of the abducted trader, affirming, “We stand with them in this challenging time.”

Domki cautioned that a failure to promptly and effectively combat these crimes might lead to widespread unrest and a pervasive atmosphere of mistrust, affecting not just minority communities but all sections of society. He demanded that the government implement robust measures to safeguard Hindu traders and citizens, preventing future occurrences of such distressing incidents.

He concluded by asserting that maintaining regional peace benefits everyone and urged all involved parties to contribute to its preservation.
