Over 1,280 Afghan Taliban Casualties Reported in Ongoing Military Offensive

More than one thousand, two hundred and eighty Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed or wounded during the ongoing “Operation Ghazab lil-Haq”, according to a high-ranking government official today.

In an update shared via his X social media account, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar confirmed that 527 militants have so far been killed. The minister”s figures also stated that over seven hundred and fifty-five fighters have sustained injuries.

The military offensive has inflicted significant damage to the group”s infrastructure, with security forces dismantling a total of 275 checkpoints. According to the dispatch, 237 posts were destroyed, while an additional 38 were captured before being razed.

Substantial losses were also inflicted on the Taliban”s military hardware. The statement confirmed that more than two hundred pieces of heavy equipment, including tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns, have been eliminated.

The operation has also featured a significant aerial component, with sixty-two separate locations across Afghanistan being effectively targeted by air strikes.
