The World Dialogue Forum is set to hold its fourth annual international conference in Washington, DC, this April, with a focus on strengthening parliamentary cooperation, trade, and economic linkages between Pakistan and the United States.
The details of the high-level event were disclosed today after the forum’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Ghazanfar Hashmi, met with Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in the capital, according to a statement on Thursday.
During the meeting, Mr Hashmi briefed the Acting President on the aims and operations of his organisation.
An official invitation to attend the Washington conference was also extended to Mr Gilani by the forum”s head.
In his remarks, the Acting President praised the forum”s contribution to advancing global dialogue, mutual understanding, and international cooperation.
