Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to bolster security and institutional collaboration, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced on Tuesday while extending congratulations to the kingdom on its National Day.
In a formal message, the interior minister reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening the bilateral partnership, highlighting a recent agreement between the two nations’ interior ministries to enhance mutual cooperation.
Naqvi conveyed special felicitations to his Bahraini counterpart, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, whom he described as a “close brother” and a key partner in advancing the collaboration between their respective ministries.
Praising Bahrain’s “visionary leadership,” Naqvi stated that the country has been successfully guided onto a path of sustainable development and prosperity. He attributed Bahrain’s standing as a regional model of stability and economic growth to its diligent efforts across multiple sectors.
The minister noted that sound planning in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social development has positioned Bahrain for a brighter future.
Highlighting the deep-rooted connection between the two countries, Naqvi said the historic and friendly ties are founded on trust, mutual respect, and brotherhood. He also recognized the significant contributions of millions of Pakistanis to Bahrain’s development, which he said further solidifies the people-to-people bonds.
Concluding his message, the interior minister expressed his prayers for the continued progress of Bahrain and the well-being of its populace, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation with the Gulf nation.
