Pakistan And Turkiye Forge Alliance For Lasting Peace In Gaza

Pakistan and Turkiye have forged an agreement to collaboratively pursue the establishment of a sustainable peace in Gaza, marking a significant diplomatic development.

According to a statement issued today, this consensus emerged from a bilateral discussion between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. The high-level meeting occurred on the periphery of the Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers Meeting focused on the Gaza crisis.

In their dialogue, both ministers conveyed contentment with the upward trajectory of Pakistan-Turkiye bilateral ties. They also renewed a shared commitment to intensify cooperation across the political, economic, and defence sectors.

The two nations underscored the robust fraternal bonds and reciprocal support that form the foundation of their relationship. Additionally, an agreement was made to sustain close coordination on pertinent regional and global matters.
