The Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup 2026 concluded in Karachi after three days of competition, with Huzaifa and Huzaima winning the men’s title and Meheq Khokhar and Asfa Shahbaz claiming the women’s doubles championship, as the Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the sport nationwide.
Held from July 3 to 5 at Sport On in Clifton, the tournament brought together the country’s leading players in the men’s, women’s and junior categories. Participants competed for official national ranking points, selection for upcoming international events, cash prizes, trophies and certificates.
In the men’s final, Huzaifa and Huzaima delivered a commanding performance to secure the championship, while Meheq Khokhar and Asfa Shahbaz emerged victorious in the women’s doubles event.
The junior champions were Daud Ali and Ahmed Jawad in the Boys Under-12 category, Rayyan Faizan and Muhammad Bin Haris in Boys Under-14, Mueez Allawala and Asher Allawala in Boys Under-16, Mustafa Azad and Habib Haseeb in Boys Under-18, and Alesha Elahi and Eschelle in the Girls Under-18 category.
The closing ceremony was attended by Pakistan Padel Federation President Muhammad Mateen as the chief guest. Among the guests of honour were Ahmed Ali Rajput, Secretary General of the Sindh Olympic Association; Saeed Ahmed, Secretary of the Sindh Police Sports Board; Maqbool Ahmed, Secretary of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF); Danish Ahmed, Vice President of the Pakistan Padel Federation; and Farhan Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Sport On.
During the ceremony, championship trophies, shields, certificates and cash prizes worth PKR 600,000 were presented to the winners and runners-up.
Addressing the participants, Muhammad Mateen congratulated the athletes on their performances and said the Pakistan Padel Federation remained dedicated to promoting padel across the country in line with the regulations and development programmes of the International Padel Federation (FIP).
He added that the Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup serves as the federation’s official national ranking tournament and plays a vital role in identifying talented players for Pakistan’s representation in regional and international competitions, including future FIP and Asian events.
The federation also expressed gratitude to Sport On for hosting the championship successfully and acknowledged the efforts of technical officials, referees, volunteers, sponsors, media representatives and participating athletes for contributing to the event’s success.
It further reaffirmed its resolve to organise more national ranking tournaments to accelerate the growth of padel in Pakistan and create greater opportunities for emerging players to compete on the international stage.
