The provincial president of the Pakistan Peace Council Sindh, Maulana Abdul Majeed Farooqi, has announced that the Day of Protection of the Finality of Prophethood will be celebrated on September 7, and the topic of the Friday sermon on September 5 at Masjid Al-Khalil in Gulistan-e-Johar will be the Finality of Prophethood.
During a meeting with a delegation, Maulana Farooqi, the administrator of Madarsa Taleem-ul-Quran and the preacher and imam of Masjid Al-Khalil, stated that the series of prophethood began with the creation of the universe and was completed with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). After this completion, the declaration of the Finality of Prophethood is necessary to prevent the expectation of the arrival of any new prophet.
He reaffirmed his commitment to peacefully defend the honor of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions within legal and constitutional boundaries. Maulana Farooqi pledged to continuously confront those who deny the Finality of Prophethood, as they deny a fundamental belief of Islam.
