Pakistan Secures Major $14.5 Million Halal Meat Export Agreement with Tajikistan

Pakistan is set to export a substantial one hundred and forty-three thousand tons of halal meat to Tajikistan, a landmark deal valued at 14.5 million dollars, marking what is being described as historic progress in the trade relations between the two nations.

According to an official report on Tuesday, this development in trade expansion is attributed to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The agreement is part of a wider initiative aimed at bolstering bilateral trade to a target of three hundred million dollars through effective trade facilitation, which is expected to enhance regional economic integration.

In a parallel advancement of bilateral ties, significant progress has also been achieved in educational cooperation, with the announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the exchange of students and teachers between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

This move to strengthen international food trade follows a recent accord between Pakistan and Brazil, where both countries agreed to further expand and deepen their collaboration in the livestock, dairy, and meat industries.
