The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved a new historic high during morning trade, surging past the significant 175,000-point threshold for the first time.
According to an official report today, opening the session with strong momentum, the benchmark Hundred Index climbed to 175,229 points. This represented a substantial gain of 757 points from the previous day”s closing figure of 174,472.
The upward trend in the equities market is being attributed to the increasing confidence of the business community in the government”s economic policies.
