President Asif Ali Zardari and his UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan convened in Abu Dhabi to explore the significant potential for expanding the economic and strategic partnership between their two nations.
During the high-level meeting, the two leaders conducted a comprehensive review of all facets of bilateral cooperation, deliberating on measures to further bolster the long-standing and fraternal relations shared between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, according to an MOIB report today.
Their discussions ventured into identifying new opportunities for collaboration across diverse sectors, including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, and technology, alongside enhancing people-to-people contacts.
The dialogue also encompassed regional and international developments, with both presidents reaffirming their mutual commitment to the promotion of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
President Zardari specifically underscored the importance of the recent visit to Pakistan undertaken by the UAE President.
Accompanying the President was a high-level delegation including First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan”s Ambassador to the UAE.
