Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to strengthening its economic and trade relationship with neighbouring Iran, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar vowing to deepen engagement in key areas of mutual interest.
The pledge was made during a high-level inter-ministerial meeting chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister in the nation’s capital today, which was convened to specifically address Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations.
Discussions during the session focused on a comprehensive review of the existing cooperation between the two nations across a wide array of sectors.
The meeting also explored strategic pathways to further enhance commercial and economic links, signalling a renewed push to fortify the partnership.
