Pakistani Squash Players Dominate Asian Junior Semifinals

Pakistani squash players displayed exceptional prowess, securing four spots in the finals of the 32nd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships 2025 in South Korea. Nauman Khan, Ahmed Rayyan Khalil, Muhammad Sohail Adnan, and Mahnoor Ali all emerged victorious in their respective semifinal matches.

Nauman Khan triumphed over India”s Aryaman S in the boys” under-15 category with a commanding 3-0 victory. Compatriot Ahmed Rayyan Khalil also secured a decisive 3-0 win against Yuen T.L of Hong Kong in the same division.

In the boys” under-13 category, Muhammad Sohail Adnan defeated India”s Amarya B 3-0. Mahnoor Ali also registered a 3-0 win, overcoming top-seeded Maisarah B.K.N of Malaysia in the girls” under-13 semifinal.

While Pakistan celebrated its victories, Abdullah Nawaz experienced a setback, losing to top seed Jooyoung Naa of South Korea in the boys” under-19 semifinals.

Tomorrow”s finals will feature an all-Pakistani clash between Nauman Khan and Ahmed Rayyan Khalil in the under-15 boys” final. Muhammad Sohail Adnan will compete against India’s Ayyan Dhanuka for the under-13 boys” title, and Mahnoor Ali will face China’s Yin Z in the under-13 girls” final.
