NAUNDERO: Raza Bhatti, Vice Chancellor, Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur, has said that the university is the mother of institutions where learning is more common and practical work is done. The university carves the student like a jeweler carves a diamond out of it and sends it to the market.
He was speaking to the students and teachers of Benazir Bhutto Government Girls Degree College, here on Monday during his visit to handover a point bus having WiFi facility which will take students to Shikarpur for studies.
He said that you don’t know the importance of your skills and it will only happen when you learn according to modern requirements. He said that coronavirus caused a lot of damage all over the world and it was education and modern technology that made it easy to control the virus.
Our effort is to make Sheikh Ayaz University one of the recognized universities in the world so that the students studying can recognize their abilities in the whole world. For this, we need to provide quality education to the students and it is our duty to look after it so that there is no gap in this quality education.
Raza Bhatti said that today we have come to provide a modern point bus to the students of Naundero so that their arrival and return to the university can be easy and to keep the students busy we have also provided a Wi-Fi system in it. It will be done so that the students do not face any difficulty in getting education according to the requirements of the modern age.
The university will provide better accountability, affordability and vocational education to students in college. He thanked Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, for the provision of a bus which will take the students of Madeji, Dakhan and Garhi Yasin from Naundero to Shikarpur University and take them back to their homes. He said that students can take advantage of this bus service and come forward for better education.
Raza Bhatti said that we are also constructing a hostel for 200 students, the work of which will be completed within a year. Additional Registrar Academic Bakhtiar Kabar said that the University has seven degree programs which are being studied.
The state of art IT facilities provided in the universities of Islamabad and Lahore will also be provided to the students here, he added. There is no political organization in Shaikh Ayaz University which is why it is running well. Initially, a batch of 100 students came out of which 65 passed and 45 failed.
Professor Nazir Soomro, Principal, Degree College said that the people who lead the institutions are the leaders who think about the future. We welcome this great initiative of Shaikh Ayaz University to provide students with daily outback facilities for university education.
Earlier there were only Sindh University Jamshoro and Latif University Khairpur and now there is Sheikh Ayaz University and students should benefit from it. Faheem Akhtar Ansari, Principal, Benazir Government Girls Degree College, said that together we can make the name of the country and the nation bright.
