In the jurisdiction of Bakrani Police Station, armed robbers opened fire on a policeman during a robbery attempt near Kambi Laro today, leaving him critically injured before fleeing the scene.
According to a police report, upon receiving information, the police reached the spot, gathered details of the incident, and shifted the injured policeman to Larkana Trauma Center in critical condition, where doctors later confirmed his death.
The victim, Rafiq Ahmed, son of Mumtaz Ali Sheikh, was returning to his village after withdrawing his salary from Bakrani city when robbers attempted to loot him near Kambi Laro. When he resisted, the robbers shot him multiple times, leaving him severely injured before escaping. He was taken to Larkana Trauma Center, where doctors pronounced him dead.
