The polio eradication campaign in Jhang will begin on Monday. In this regard, in a meeting held on Sunday, Deputy Commissioner Jhang considered the necessary resources, including ice boxes to keep the vaccine safe and additional volunteers.
Authorities focused on raising public awareness about the dangers of polio and the importance of its prevention through vaccination. The Deputy Commissioner praised the outstanding services of the Rotary Club Jhang Central, describing their contributions to public health as extremely valuable.
In his address, Bhinder made a special request for further cooperation from the civic organization to provide ice boxes for storing vaccines in the hospital. He also appealed for more volunteers to help ensure that children receive their polio drops in a timely manner.
In response to this appeal, Abdul Wahid Khan, President of the Rotary Club Jhang Central, reiterated the club’s unwavering commitment to the cause. He assured the authorities that his organization would continue to work with all its energy alongside the government to eradicate this deadly disease.
The event was attended by key figures from the Rotary Club, including Polio Campaign Chairman Shahid Noor, Vice President Haji Afzal, Public Image Committee Co-Chairman Malik Altaf Hussain, and Flood Relief Committee Chairman Irshad Jan.
