A senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Sardar Aamir Altaf, has predicted his party’s historic victory in the upcoming Azad Kashmir general elections, saying that voters have resolved to reject “the politics of chaos and hollow slogans” in favor of development and stability.
Addressing party workers, local dignitaries, and various delegations in Rawalakot today, Member of the Legislative Assembly Sardar Aamir Altaf Khan said that the PML-N is poised to achieve success based on its past performance, continuous public service, and strong organizational structure.
The former government minister maintained that the vision of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif is based on development, economic self-reliance, and institutional stability for Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. He claimed that during its previous tenure, the party put the country on the path of development, completed major infrastructure projects, and provided a strong economic foundation.
“This performance is still alive in the hearts of the people, and on this basis, the PML-N will once again win the people’s trust,” he said.
He described the PML-N as an ideological, democratic, and people-friendly party that has always prioritized public welfare, employment opportunities, and improvements in the education and health sectors, especially in underdeveloped areas.
Sardar Aamir Altaf Khan emphasized that the dream of a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir can only be realized under the leadership of his party, which focuses on practical solutions and concrete policies instead of “false promises and temporary slogans.” He added that the political stability and economic recovery that the state currently needs are only possible under the “wise leadership” of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
He praised Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to public service, the supremacy of the constitution, and strengthening state institutions, saying that under his guidance, Pakistan set new records of development and improved its reputation on the global stage.
The central leader urged party workers to demonstrate unity and discipline while running a positive election campaign to take the PML-N’s message door-to-door. He stressed that the workers are the party’s “valuable asset,” whose hard work will ensure a magnificent electoral victory.
He concluded by expressing his conviction that the people of Azad Kashmir have chosen the path of prosperity and development, and predicted that the PML-N will win with a clear majority and usher in “a new era of construction and development in the region.”
