Anjuman Naujawanan-e-Islam Pakistan has warned that rising political tension and inappropriate statements against state institutions are becoming a cause of grave concern for Pakistan, especially at a time when the country is facing a continuous increase in incidents of terrorism.
Addressing a private gathering of political and social figures, the head of Anjuman Naujawanan-e-Islam Pakistan, Muhammad Saleem Attari, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in the districts of Tank, Karzai, and Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of 11 people, including police personnel, in the attacks and offered condolences to the bereaved families.
Mr. Attari emphasized that the continuous political tension is proving detrimental to the country and its citizens and demanded its immediate end.
He stressed that to protect the integrity of the country and improve the law and order situation, it is imperative for all political parties to be on the same page.
Recalling the broad consensus that existed among all political institutions in the past regarding the National Action Plan, he advocated for its full and immediate implementation to counter the threats facing the nation.
