Politics of hatred, division, and confrontation has harmed the country: Pakistan Sunni Tehreek

Pakistan Sunni Tehreek’s Central Secretary General, Sahibzada Allama Bilal Saleem Qadri Shami, has said that the solution to the serious political, economic, and social challenges facing the country lies in mutual harmony, the supremacy of the constitution, and keeping the national interest above all.

He said in a statement today that the dream of sustainable development and prosperity cannot be realized until the entire nation unites on one platform and cooperates with state institutions.

Qadri described national institutions as the pillars of the state, stressing that their strength, transparency, and functioning within constitutional limits are indispensable for the country’s stability.

The religious leader said that the political culture of hatred, division, and confrontation has harmed the country, and it is now time to promote a politics of tolerance, dialogue, and unity instead.

He reiterated that the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek has always been a supporter of peace and national solidarity and will continue to play its positive and constructive role in the interest of the country and the nation.

In his concluding statement, Qadri appealed to all political parties, religious circles, media, and civil society to set aside personal differences and unite for the security, sovereignty, and progress of Pakistan, because “a strong Pakistan is the shared future of us all.”
