The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has claimed in a press statement that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) calls itself the representative of South Punjab and is a supporter of a separate province, but despite being in the federal government from 2008 to 2013, it did no practical work (university, hospital, industry). Development happened during the PML-N’s era, especially in health, education, and infrastructure. Now, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has started to remove deprivations from the very first day. The PPP is afraid that this development will cause their political demise. Because the public knows who only talks and who works.
