Pakistan Peoples Party Harnai on Monday called on the authorities to include district Harnai in the calamity-hit-area of Balochistan and allocate funds for construction of highways and roads washed away by recent rains in district Harnai of Balochistan province.
This demands were made by President, Pakistan Peoples Party, Harnai, Yasin Khan Tarin in a statement. He said form-47 MPA from Harnai had turned Harnai into ruins, adding that funds allocated to compensate the earthquake affected families of Harnai had been embezzled.
Tarin said recent rains had washed away Quetta to Harnai highway and Harnai to Sanjawi highway besides completely destroying the structures in the district.
He remarked that form-47 MPA from the constituency had completely ignored Harnai in development projects, turning thereby Harnai into ruins.
He called on Chief Minister Balochistan to include Harnai into calamity hit districts of the province, allocate special funds for construction of all roads of Harnai, including bridges Quetta to Harnai highway and Harnai to Sanjawi highway, and conduct inquiry as to where funds for compensation of earthquake affected families had been utilised.
