The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership today resolved to intensify its efforts to steer the country out of pressing political and economic challenges, calling for a comprehensive mobilisation of its organisational structure to address public grievances.
The resolution came during a high-level meeting on party matters chaired by PPP Secretary General, Muhammad Humayun Khan, which focused on the current national landscape and the difficulties confronting the populace.
Discussions during the conclave centred on the prevailing political situation at both national and provincial levels, party affairs, and the hardships faced by citizens. Attendees asserted that the PPP, as a responsible national entity, is performing a pivotal role in resolving public issues.
Participants paid tribute to what they described as the dynamic and people-centric leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. They stated that under his guidance, the party is actively working to protect public rights, strengthen democracy, and navigate the nation through its current challenges.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Khan affirmed that the party remains a potent and effective voice across Pakistan and has consistently supported the people during times of adversity. He stressed the urgent need to further organise the party, accelerate its activities, and energise its workers.
The meeting concluded with attendees presenting various proposals aimed at enhancing party functions, expanding public outreach campaigns, and activating the organisational framework from the ground up.
The session was attended by prominent party figures including Dilnawaz Khan, Yahya Shah, Dawood Jan, Aurangzeb Mughal, and Changez Khan. Also present were Qazi Ahmed Latif, Naeem Khan Yousafzai, and Behzad Ibrahim.
