Protest against the sale of adulterated milk in Naushahro Feroze, Public Action Committee marched

Protests erupted against the sale of adulterated milk and yogurt in Naushahro Feroze and Moro. In Naushahro Feroze, the Public Action Committee organized a march from Insaf Chowk to the Press Club, where participants chanted slogans against the sale of contaminated milk.

Protesters including Muhammad Younis Rajput, M. Zafar Taghar, Khadim Sial, Muhammad Khalid Chana, Iqbal Rajput, and Khadim Mari alleged that the use of these contaminated products is increasing heart, kidney, and stomach diseases in the district. They criticized the inadequate response of local authorities and food safety regulators, claiming that only symbolic actions, such as closing a few shops for a short time, have been taken.

Separately, in Moro, a protest led by Arshad Qadri, Nadeem Ghauri, and Munawwar Ahmed under the banners of STOP, Pakistan Welfare Party, and Jamaat-e-Islami also condemned the sale of chemically altered milk, yogurt, ghee, and oil, linking them to serious health hazards.

These groups demanded decisive action from the Sindh Chief Minister and senior officials against those selling these dangerous items, accusing them of endangering public health. They warned that they would intensify their protests if their concerns were not addressed.
