The protest, organized under the banner of the Sujag Shehri Ittehad, also included a sit-in and a walk from Shah Latif Public Park to the Nasirabad Sachal Press Club.
Addressing the gathering, Sufi Ghaffar Channa, Asif Katheo, and Muhammad Malook Laghari emphasized the severe difficulties faced by citizens due to the incomplete medical facility and demanded its construction be completed without further delay.
The speakers accused the elected representatives of being engrossed in personal interests instead of public welfare.
An appeal was made to the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Provincial Health Minister to take notice of the situation and take steps to finalize the remaining development work of the hospital.
The leadership of the alliance warned that their protest would continue until their demands were met. Leaders of other organizations included in the alliance also participated in the demonstration.
