Karachi, August 06, 2018 (PPI-OT): As per directives of Director General, Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), the PSQCA team during crackdown against illegal production of Steel Bars (PS 2337) and Steel Structure (PS 4798), three Steel industries M/s. Zum Sun Steel Industries, MPR Colony, Manghopir Road, Karachi, M/s Amaan Steel Industries,, MPR Colony, Manghopir Road, Karachi, M/s Star Steel Industries, MPR Colony, Manghopir Road, Karachi were seized and notice of illegal production were issued on spot as per Sub section 2© of section 15 of PSQCA Act VI of 1996. Steel industries were found involved in illegal manufacturing without having CM Licence from PSQCA which is a clear violation of PSQCA Act and Conformity Assessment Rule 2011.
