PTI Leaders Vow to Broaden National Movement for Imran Khan’s Release

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership on Monday reaffirmed its commitment to a nationwide movement aimed at securing the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and achieving what it terms genuine freedom.

The statement came after a high-level meeting in Peshawar between PTI Sindh Vice President Rizwan Niazi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi at the Chief Minister House. The discussion centred on the party’s ongoing political and public activities.

During the consultation, Chief Minister Afridi thanked the residents of Sindh for the warm reception he received on a recent visit, which he suggested was indicative of widespread public desire for change. He also announced his intention to visit other cities in the province in the near future.

Niazi commended the Chief Minister on recent demonstrations held in the Malakand and Swat divisions, describing the events as successful examples of strong public participation and political awareness. He contended that the party’s countrywide campaign had effectively disseminated Imran Khan’s message and mobilised citizens at all levels.

In a call for solidarity, Niazi asserted that the nation is united in the struggle for Imran Khan’s release. He urged other political organisations and individuals from all walks of life to support the movement, stating its goal is to pave the way for democratic stability and justice in Pakistan.
