Punjab Police Rescue and Relief Operation for Flood Victims in Sahiwal

Punjab Police are engaged in continuous rescue and relief operations for flood victims in Sahiwal, utilizing personnel, hundreds of vehicles, and boats to evacuate and assist affected residents.

Millions of affected people have been moved to safe places and livestock have also been rescued from flood-affected areas.

Food, clean drinking water, medical aid, and security are being provided to displaced people residing in relief camps.

The police force is in contact with the district administration, rescue organizations, and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). Police patrolling continues in rivers and flood-prone areas.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all available resources are being utilized to protect the lives and property of citizens.
