QUETTA: Provincial leader of Pakistan Peoples Party and member Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, on Wednesday said that heavy and continued rain in Gwadar has paralysed daily life in the area for the last two days.
In a message on X, he said: “Heavy and continued rain in Gawadar has paralysed daily life in the area for last two days." Federal and Provincial Disaster Management Authorities should start immediate rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations there.
All the provincial and federal departments concerned need to join hands to deal with the alarming situation. Due to the effects of climate change, coastal area of Pakistan, including Gwadar, is being hit by cyclones and torrential rains time and again, which reminds us to be more cognisant and prepared in our future plannings
