Reception for outgoing Islami Jamiat Nazims, applied for Jamaat-e-Islami membership

Two former top officials of the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) have formally applied for membership in the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), marking their transition from student politics to mainstream party politics.

The development occurred during a reception on Wednesday, organized by Jamaat-e-Islami District East, held in honor of the outgoing Nazim of IJT Karachi, Hafiz Abish Siddiqui, and the former Nazim of the student organization’s Larkana division, Saeed Anwar, upon the completion of their tenures.

During the event, both former student leaders submitted applications to join their parent political organization.

Jamaat-e-Islami District East Ameer Naeem Akhtar was present at the event and expressed good wishes for the leaders entering mainstream politics.

The event was also attended by District Qayyim Noman Patel, Naib Ameers, and various other district-level party officials.
