Deputy Commissioner Zahid Hussain Rind announced today that the district administration Sajawal is set to organize a mega festival soon to promote and showcase innovative initiatives in agriculture, social welfare, culture, and education .
This announcement was while presiding over a meeting at Darbar Hall in Sujawal. The Deputy Commissioner directed all relevant departments, particularly the agriculture and forestry departments, to swiftly present their plans for projects related to agriculture and tree plantation to be displayed at the festival.
Rindh highlighted that the festival would attract local residents, researchers, farmers, students, and industry professionals, providing them with a platform to engage and exchange knowledge.
He also instructed Social Welfare Department officials to ensure the participation of both local and international NGOs working on various projects in the district. These NGOs are to bring their plans concerning agriculture, social welfare, culture, education, tree plantation, and scientific activities to the upcoming meeting next week for further strategy development.
The meeting saw participation from officials of various departments, including Social Welfare, Revenue, Police, Agriculture, Health, Forestry, Education, Irrigation, Drainage, Buildings, Highways, Public Health, Local Government, Population Welfare, Livestock, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, PPHI, Rescue 1122, and others.
