SALU Centre pays glowing tribute to APS martyrs

The Student Societies Centre of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur organized a seminar at the university auditorium to pay a glowing tribute to the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar tragedy.

The event was aimed to pay tribute to their sacrifices and highlight the importance of peace and resilience. Dr Ali Raza Lashari, coordinator of the center, remarked, ‘Today, we remember one of the darkest chapters in our history. The sacrifices given on this day remind us to stand united against terrorism and extremism.’

Educationist and guest speaker Ms Shamaila Rubab Rizvi emphasized the role of education in countering darkness, saying, ‘The APS martyrs inspire us to ensure a brighter and safer future.’

Asad Abbas, president of the center, thanked attendees and reaffirmed the commitment to peace and progress. The seminar concluded with prayers for the martyrs and renewed the resolve to combat extremism through awareness and education.
