President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended Pakistan”s security forces for successfully neutralizing a network of what they identified as “Indian-backed Khwarij terrorists” during a decisive operation in the Orakzai district.
In separate messages, the nation”s top leaders paid homage to the armed forces for their valor in disrupting the activities of the group, which was also referred to as the “Indian sponsored Fitna al Khwarij.”
President Zardari stated that the persistent successes in the fight against extremist elements are a clear symbol of the nation”s unyielding resolve to ensure peace and security.
The Prime Minister, in his statement, acknowledged the profound sacrifices of the security personnel, observing that they are engaged in safeguarding the motherland from its enemies by putting their own lives at risk.
Prime Minister Sharif also reaffirmed the government”s steadfast commitment to completely stamp out the menace of terrorism from every corner of the country.
