A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Turkish Colony, eight kilometers away from Thatta city on Sunday.
According to a police report, the seven-year-old girl, Shahida, was allegedly forcibly taken to the colony’s quarters by accused Yasin on the pretext of bringing food items, where he raped her and fled to unknown destination.
On the complaint of the victim girl’s mother Zahida, a case has been registered against the accused at the Makli police station, following which the police have started search for the fleeing accused. The victim girl was brought to the civil hospital, where her DNA test samples have been collected and sent to the Jamshoro laboratory for the medical test.
