KAMBER:Unidentified armed persons fired a rocket launcher shell on a house in village Wandh of Gull Muhammad near Kamber in the wee hours of Monday, killing a minor girl and injuring her sister.

According to police, the armed men fire the shell in village Wandh of Gull Muhammad near Tehsil Sajawal Junejo that hit the house of Sardar Ali Mastoi. As a result, a seven-year-old Falak, daughter of Sardar Ali Mastoi, was killed on the spot and his younger daughter Soohan was also seriously injured.

Panic gripped the area after the incident. Police rushed to the scene after information. The police said that Mastoi community confirmed that some time back, a quarrel had occurred with Dahani community over partridge sounding issue near Kamber area, and they had threatened them on social media.

The police handed over the body to the heirs after a postpartum from Taluka Hospital Miro Khan hospital while the wounded girl was shifted to the Larkana hospital emergency ward. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the village. No arrest could be made till filing this report.
