A significant decrease was seen in the gold and silver markets today, with gold prices dramatically decreased at both local and international levels. In the local market, the price of one tola of gold decreased by 5,600 rupees to 424,136 rupees.
Similarly, a significant decrease was also seen in the price of 10 grams of gold, which decreased by 4,801 rupees to 363,628 rupees. This trend reflects the global market, where the price of gold decreased by 56 dollars per ounce, now priced at 4,017 dollars per ounce.
The silver market was not immune to these fluctuations. Locally, the price of one tola of silver decreased by 50 rupees to close at 6,289 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver saw a decrease of 43 rupees, bringing it to 5,391 rupees.
At the international level, the current price of silver is 58.10 dollars per ounce. This decrease in the prices of precious metals highlights the ongoing uncertainty affecting local and global markets.
