Sindh cabinet approves Rs 5.20 billion grant for Hyderabad municipality, Rs 560 million for katcha operation

The Sindh cabinet, in its meeting on Tuesday, approved a substantial grant of Rs 5.20 billion for the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, while a sum of Rs 1.57 billion was allocated for protection purposes.

To assist law enforcement agencies, the Sindh Police were provided with Rs 560 million to enhance their operations in the katcha areas.

Expressing his resolve to control rising prices during the holy month of Ramadan, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has ordered the implementation of strict measures against inflation.

The high-level meeting, comprising provincial ministers, advisors, and senior officials, also approved a series of significant financial grants for various provincial projects.

Presiding over the meeting at the Chief Minister’s House, Syed Murad Ali Shah stated that price hikes “will not be tolerated” and directed assistant commissioners across the province to be active in the field to ensure implementation.
