Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori asserted that significant and unwavering support from Arab countries has been instrumental in stabilizing Pakistan”s economic and diplomatic standing, adding that the United Arab Emirates government is providing extensive facilities to Pakistani investors.
According to a statement issued from Sindh Governor House today, he expressed these views while speaking to journalists at Governor House in the presence of UAE Ambassador Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi and Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi.
Governor Tessori conveyed his sincere appreciation after the UAE Ambassador assured him of continued cooperation and support for Pakistan. He noted that the UAE”s backing for Pakistan is recognized globally and that both nations are committed to enhancing their bilateral relationship.
Describing Arab nations as sincere allies, the governor stated they wish to see an economically stable and progressing Pakistan. He also highlighted the substantial contribution of the Pakistani expatriate community to the development of the United Arab Emirates.
Expressing optimism, Tessori said Pakistan will move forward on a new path of development, and asserted that hostile forces will fail in their objectives. He also announced that arrangements would again be made this year to provide iftar and sehri for five hundred thousand people during the holy month of Ramadan.
Marking the anniversary of the Army Public School tragedy, the governor said the nation continues to remember the sacrifices of the innocent children, while security forces remain bravely engaged in the fight against terrorism.
During his visit, the UAE Ambassador planted a sapling at Governor House as part of a tree plantation campaign, hoisted the flag, rang the Hope Bell, and visited the office of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Following a briefing on various welfare measures and Governor Initiatives, Ambassador Al Zaabi praised the programs, describing them as effective steps toward ensuring public welfare.
