Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today expressed profound sorrow over the martyrdom of Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials during a visit to the Iranian Embassy.
Meeting with Iranian Ambassador Dr Reza Amiri Moghaddam and diplomatic personnel, the governor affirmed that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the brotherly country of Iran during this difficult period. He also inscribed a message in the official condolence book at the embassy.
The governor’s diplomatic engagements also included separate meetings with the envoys of Qatar and Bahrain to deliberate on the prevailing regional climate and matters of mutual interest.
At the Embassy of Qatar, Governor Tessori conferred with Ambassador Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al Khater regarding the current situation in the Gulf state. He conveyed the support of the Pakistani people for Qatar during what he described as a “challenging time” and emphasised the necessity for unity within the Muslim Ummah to confront shared challenges.
In a subsequent visit to the Embassy of Bahrain, Governor Tessori held detailed discussions with Ambassador Mohamed Ebrahim Mhamed Abdulqader. During the dialogue, the governor reiterated Pakistan’s desire for unity and solidarity among all Muslim nations.
