Sindh is a historical unit, division is not acceptable in any case: Grand Democratic Alliance

The leaders of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) have strongly condemned recent statements regarding the division of Sindh, announcing that any such move is unacceptable in any case and an attempt to mislead the public.

In a joint statement today, GDA leaders Safdar Abbasi, Liaquat Ali Khan Jatoi, Syed Zain Shah, and Sardar Abdul Rahim emphasized that Sindh is a historical unit and its division is constitutionally “nearly impossible”.

The alliance stressed that its political struggle is centered on the principle of “United Sindh, Strong Pakistan,” and added that it completely rejects the politics of division and chaos.

GDA leaders also strongly criticized their political rivals. They accused the Peoples Party of failing to provide basic facilities to the public during its 18-year rule.

According to the alliance, under the Peoples Party’s government, the education and health systems in the province have been destroyed and corruption has reached its peak.

The statement also said that MQM has disappointed the people of Karachi and Hyderabad.

The GDA leadership reiterated its firm resolve, saying that it will strongly resist every attempt to bifurcate the province.
