Sindh University Campus Larkana joins Lahore academic event

LARKANA: Sindh University Campus Larkana Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Azhar Ali Shah and faculty member Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh participated as Panelists at the national academic event entitled Second All Pakistan Summit of the Students’ Societies 2022 held at Government College University Lahore in collaboration with Shaoor Foundation Islamabad, PACT project and other stakeholders.

According to the university information, Punjab Minister Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayoon, VC GCU Lahore Prof Asghar Zaidi, Executive Director Shaoor Foundation Raja Shoaib Akbar, CEO She Her Foundation Barrister Aaminah Qadir and others were also among the other panelist during inauguration ceremony at the event held at Patras Bukhari Auditorium today.

Prof Dr Azhar Ali Shah shared experiences of student societies observed during his PhD studies at the University of Nottingham and based on their excellent work as a bridge between student body and University administration Dr Shah established these societies at Sindh University Campus Larkana in 2020 and Dadu in 2021.

Dr Shah appreciated the work and conduct of student societies at Sindh University Campus Larkana and cited various national and international events which were successfully arranged through such societies including the very recent 1st Larkana Inter-University Sports Gala 2022 which was successfully conducted with the joint collaboration of SBB Medical University Larkana and Quaid e Awam University of Science and Technology Campus Larkano with the efforts of SUCL Sports Society for Peace and Conflict Management. Dr Shah expressed gratitude to Shaoor Foundation and PACT Project for facilitating the participation in such national events.
