LARKANA: Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro, general secretary of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal, Sindh, visited various areas on a large-scale public relations campaign on forth coming LB local elections here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Rashid Soomro said that their candidates for all seats in the local bodies elections will succeed and will solve all the issues of progress of the city on a priority basis. He said that the era of Niazi government was the worst period in Pakistan’s history, the previous government ruined the political and economic system, the Niazi government disappointed the people and deceived them.

He said it is the responsibility of the rulers to protect the people from the tyranny of the party; the country cannot afford to be united; there is no room for chaos and chaotic politics; corruption and bloody marches can lead to disaster for the country and the nation adding we will not allow the country to become a colony of Jews and Qadianis. Maulana Soomro said that parliamentary politics is not a matter of Imran’s power, he wants to spread unrest and chaos.

Meanwhile, Jameel Soomro, Political Secretary to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said while addressing a press conference at Larkana Press Club that Returning Officers (ROs) have been appointed by the ECP not by the Sindh Chief Minister. He said PPP does not believe in purchasing votes but in power of the vote. He said they have brought new faces in the upcoming LB polls which include the previous four chairmen and vice chairmen only. He claimed that the PPP will sweep the polls with the support of the residents.
